    Sitka Studio x Cure Singapore

21st of January “with CURE Singapore”

Sitka Studio is a contemporary restaurant serving an ambitious tasting menu. Our food is provenance driven with virtually all of our ingredients caught, picked, foraged or grown within a few miles of Kuala Lumpur with only some interesting products brought in to compliment, not dominate, what we already have.

Our approach to food allows us to innovate and focus on traditional techniques like fermentation, brining, pickling, smoking, salting and marinating to showcase the best of Malaysia’s produce. We are the bridge between local producers and you, our discerning diners. We have built relationships with farmers, fishermen and even milk producers to ensure that the ingredients we use are fresh, chemical free and the best Malaysia has to offer.

    Andrew Walsh

Walsh spent many years in acclaimed Michelin star kitchens across Dublin, Singapore, and New York under the mentorship of Marcus Samuelsson, Tom Aikens and Jason Atherton. The latter convinced him to move across the world to head Esquina, the highly popular tapas joint that pioneered the small plates trend in Singapore. With Cure, the first space he can call his own, Walsh is ready for the limelight.

Rated by Eater US as one of the hottest Singapore restaurants this year, the food at Cure is inspired by the season’s best produce, showcased in the monthly-changing tasting menu. A perfect example of ‘bistronomy’ cuisine that highlights cutting-edge and imaginative cooking at an affordable price, it’s no wonder it’s one of The Independent UK’s best eats in Singapore.

  • A Donation to Food Bank

On November 14th, 2016, cure hosted a charity dinner with Tom Aikens, and made a donation to Food Bank Singapore.

    What is a Food Bank?

To make it really simple, a food bank is a place where companies or people can come to deposit or donate their unused or unwanted food which will then be collected and allocated to the needy through a network of member beneficiaries such as family service centres, various types of homes, soup kitchens, and other VWOs.

As the price of food continues to rise, many middle to low income families have problems putting food on the table as salaries are not increasing as quickly. Moreover, based on our observation, we do know that there are pockets of unused food within the food industry that can most certainly be put to better use.

Therefore, based on our sincere passion for food, we decided to set up The Food Bank Singapore to help out in whatever ways we can. To find out more about us, simply navigate head to
